Obraz vás prenesie na hlavný hrebeň Nízkych Tatier, priamo k najvyššiemu vrcholu tohto pohoria – majestátnemu Ďumbieru. Dielo zachytáva jedinečný prechod medzi dňom a nocou, kedy horizont ešte zohrievajú teplé odtiene oranžovej a ružovej, no oblohe už naplno dominuje hlboká noc s detailne vykreslenou Mliečnou dráhou a žiarivým splnom. Skutočnou lahôdkou pre pozorné oko sú na plátne presne zaznamenané detaily štyroch súhvezdí – Labute, Orla, Strelca a Škorpióna, ktoré dodávajú nočnej scenérii astronomickú autenticitu. Popredie kompozície tvorí poskladaný kamenný chodník a rozsiahle žulové bloky, ktoré sú typické pre kryštalinické jadro a drsný georeliéf Nízkych Tatier. Práve na tento členitý terén a samotný horský masív v pozadí som vo veľkej miere využila modelovaciu 3D pastu. Skaly tak nedostali len farbu, ale aj reálnu, hmatateľnú štruktúru a fyzicky vystupujú z plátna. Keď si obraz zavesíte do interiéru a dopadne naň prirodzené denné svetlo alebo večerné bočné osvetlenie z lampy, táto 3D štruktúra naplno ožije. Reliéf začne vrhať skutočné tiene, vďaka čomu obraz získa úžasnú priestorovú hĺbku a prinesie do miestnosti tichú, no zároveň strhujúcu atmosféru nočnej vysokohorskej krajiny pod hviezdami.The painting takes you onto the main ridge of the Low Tatras, right to the highest peak of the range – the majestic Ďumbier. It captures the rare passage from day into night, when the horizon is still warmed by orange and pink, while the sky is already deep night, with a carefully painted Milky Way and a bright moon. A careful eye will find four constellations recorded on the canvas – Cygnus, Aquila, Sagittarius and Scorpius – which give the night scene astronomical accuracy. The foreground is a laid stone path and large granite blocks, typical of the crystalline core and the rough relief of the Low Tatras. I used modeling 3D paste widely on this broken ground and on the mountain massif behind it, so the rocks have not only colour but a real, tactile structure and physically rise from the canvas. When the painting hangs in a room and daylight or evening side light from a lamp falls on it, this 3D structure fully comes alive. The relief casts real shadows, the painting gains a clear spatial depth, and it brings the quiet, yet gripping atmosphere of a high-mountain night under the stars into the room.
